Things I Want

Don’t ask me complicated questions,

when the sun has gone to sleep,

just wrap me up,

like a gift with a bow,

surrender me to the sin of your sheets.

Tell me I’m your princess,

prey upon my body,

like I’m a forsaken goddess,

don’t ask me stupid questions,

and don’t ask for my permission.

Laying in my lace,

at your leisure,

restrained,

ravishingly maddening.

I let you love me how you want to.

I want you,

but I don’t think I understand you,

sometimes,

but I want to.

I want you,

your soft eyes,

staring as I undress,

hard kiss,

passionate and overpowering.

I do what you tell me to,

because I want you,

and I want to.

I want to be purring in your arms in the aftermath,

that’s the part I think of most when the moments passed,

laying at home,

late at night,

all alone,

burning all the way down.

You leave me in flames,

all over again.

Don’t ask me complicated,

stupid,

senseless questions.

Just wrap me up,

like a gift with a bow,

surrender me to the sin of your sheets.
