Lazy kisses with my lavender lips,
under the lights of Le Monocle,
my life,
my lover,
mi amor, all aboard the astral realm,
ripping apart the new year before it has even begun,
I am at once, enchanted.
There is danger in my dreams,
disaster in my drama,
but she doesn’t hesitate,
holding out her hands with a hopeful smile,
and we dance in the dust of undiscovered planets,
lingering, longing looks across the clouds of long forgotten skies.
Nobody else could see,
but somewhere in that kiss,
we were interstellar.
