Sprung In The Summertime

Sprung on you,

as Spring time fades into a memory,

swallowed by the heat of Summer and her passion.

The warmth with which you kiss me,

your lips that taste of a mix of all the drinks we’ve shared tonight,

some divine cocktail that I am addicted to.

The stars can see that I love you,

for all seasons.

Last night, that song was playing,

as we were laying on the bathroom floor,

chaotic conundrum of estrogen and oxycontin.

You know,

love and lust look so much alike,

and my mind has naive eyes,

but this time,

it really feels real.

With you,

it really feels real.
