Hola Amigos,
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I wanted to take a little time to wish you a lovely holiday period. I know that this year has been difficult for some, and that is why it is so important to be kind and sweet to one another as we push forward to 2018.
I hope you are having the day you always wished for.
For today only, you can download Kindle copies of my books Home Wrecker, Last Of The Greenwich Glamour Girls and Home Wrecker, for free on Amazon, all over the world. You can find the links below at the end of this post.
I also have a brand new poem available for you to read in the latest issue of Audacity, which you can find here.
You can also check out the latest episode of my podcast, Sincerely, Jennifer x, as well as last week’s episode of Jennifer Dates, if you haven’t already! I look forward to spending more time with you and sharing more of the mess that goes on in my head, next year.
Besos,
J x

He didn’t want me,
because someone else broke me,
and I was still clawing back,
the glamour,
of who I used to wake up as,
before she was lost.
I let myself trip into tasting,
a little something like love,
and now my knees are grazed,
and my heart is mad at me,
and I don’t blame her.
He didn’t want me.
I don’t want me either.

Girls

There are girls,
made from missteps
of misled mothers,
the best of wishes,
and the worst of luck.
Those are the strongest girls of all.

This One

With standards lower
than my necklines,
I scribbled your name,
everywhere I could reach.
My wishes for us,
fell to the floor,
and I joined them,
clutching at your shoes,
the hems of your trousers,
hysterically hoping.
Please.
Please.
Please.
Don’t let this one,
be the one,
who leaves,
like the last.
