Last night,
as you dreamt of the one you loved,
I jumped,
for joy,
in front of a train.
Nobody saw.
It went right through me,
faster and harder,
than the way you kissed me goodbye.
I, the most beautiful blur of broken hearted blood.
When it hit me,
I gazed up at the mortified magpies,
shrugging my shattered shoulders.
I told them,
I didn’t feel a thing,
since you left me,
anyway.
