Show Me What You Can Do!

Hola Amigos,

I hope you’re having a day as wonderful as you are.

I started the year saying that I didn’t want to set goals or resolutions for the year, and that is still true. I’m hoping instead to just go where life takes me, and do what makes me happy. Hopefully that will keep me out of trouble!

One of the things I’d like to do, and have been thinking about for a long time, is sharing my love of writing with others. That is why I’m hoping to start a little initiative, where I can share my work with you, and use the platform I have to share your work with others too. It’s 2018, and the world is kind of weird right now, so I just feel we should be building each other up, and creating positive and empowering environments for each other, and this is my shot at that, I guess.

This is why I’ve decided to launch a monthly poetry competition! This will be a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better as writers, and for us to really build a community, and I’m really excited! I really can’t wait to see what you guys come up with, and so for now, I’m leaving the subject up to you, but maybe as we go on, we can come up with some fun themes together. There will be chances to win monthly prizes all year round, with free entry, so I hope you’ll get involved.

You can find the rules and entry information here.

Besos,

J x
